ARUBA 7000 Series Mobility Controllers runs the ArubaOS network operating System and manages up to 4,096 concurrent users, 64 access points (APs) and include up to 24 Ethernet ports, and multiple WAN connections, the 7000 Series provides unified policy enforcement at up to 8 Gbps of firewall throughput – plenty of capacity for the most demanding distributed enterprise environments.
Aruba 7000 Series Mobility Controllers improve WLAN performance by centralizing all control functionality for individual Aruba access points (APs) to improve AP utilization and client roaming. They also improve security by ensuring all traffic is encapsulated in GRE tunnels for complete encryption from AP to Controller. As part of a controller cluster managed by Aruba’s Mobility Master, the 7000 Series takes advantage of the full ArubaOS feature set, including AI-powered AirMatch, live firmware upgrades, dynamic licensing pools, and secure multi-tenant SSID segmentation (MultiZone).
